Father of son, John III, Captain in the US Air Force, and daughter, Carrie, PhD student at Wayne State University.

EDUCATION:

1970 Graduated from Wayne State University, BS in Education.

1974 Vocationally Certified.

1984 Graduated from Wayne State University, MS in Education Administration.

1985 Graduated from Command and General Staff College  US Army reserves.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

1971-2007 Employed by Livonia Public Schools as a teacher.  

   SUBJECTS TAUGHT : English, industrial arts in the middle school,

    home construction, building trades, building maintenance at the Career Center , 

    drafting, woods, tec lab, American history, and government at Stevenson High 

    School.    RETIRED 31 years.

    Owner of American Heritage Construction Co 1984- present.

MILITARY EXERIENCE:

1971-2002 Member of the United States Army Reserves.

Rank:  Lieutenant Colonel, Medical Service Corp.

Veteran of Desert Storm.

Competition high powered rifle 22 pts distinguished.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout Assistant Scout Master, Eagle Scout, Wood Badge.
